Day 1 features the 4th Annual Food is Medicine Symposium in Winter Park, Florida, bringing together national leaders, policymakers, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to explore the rapidly evolving Food is Medicine landscape. Sessions highlight emerging research, policy developments, innovative care models, and regional collaborations advancing nutrition-based strategies to improve health outcomes.

The program also explores behavioral health and lifestyle interventions that help individuals reverse chronic conditions and reduce diet-related disease risk. Participants will learn about real-world Food is Medicine solutions, including mobile markets, teaching kitchens, produce prescription programs, and innovative food sourcing strategies that bring care directly into communities.

4Roots Farm Campus, Orlando FL

Day 2 focuses on the practical application of Food as Medicine through immersive learning at the 4Roots Farm Campus. In partnership with the Ardmore Institute of Health (AIH), the program equips healthcare professionals with actionable strategies to implement culinary health programs in clinical and community settings.

Under the guidance of CME Course Director, Dr. Arianna Becker, culinary health specialists, and lifestyle medicine experts, participants will learn to apply AIH’s Full Plate Living® Program, build practical culinary skills, and gain tools to implement Shared Medical Visits and teaching kitchen models through lectures, hands-on cooking, and farm-based learning experiences.

Program outcomes will be evaluated through participant assessments, skills competency checkoffs, and follow-up surveys at 3 and 6 months, supporting a growing network of Food as Medicine Champions advancing health equity and improving patient outcomes.
