Dr Terrance Drew

Honourable Prime Minister, St Kitts and Nevis

The Honourable Dr. Terrance M. Drew is the fourth Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis following general elections that were held on 5 August, 2022. Prime Minister Drew also holds the portfolios of Minister of Finance, National Security, Immigration, Health, and Social Security. He has led the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party since November 2021. Dr. Drew is serving his first term as the elected Member of Parliament for the constituency of St. Christopher 8. He serves as the Lead Head of Government within CARICOM bearing responsibility for Health. As a medical doctor, Prime Minister Drew has worked as a general practitioner at the Joseph Nathaniel France General Hospital and as a private practitioner in St Kitts, following his studies at Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas in Santa Clara, in Cuba (from 1998). He has specialised in Internal Medicine in St Kitts, following his studies at the Paul Foster School of Medicine in Texas (2010-2013). He also serves as a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and founded the C.A.R.E. Foundation in February 2021, a non-profit, non-partisan organisation that aims to assist citizens nationally, across both islands of St Kitts and Nevis.

Michael Martin

Head, St Kitts and Nevis’ Citizenship by Investment Unit

Kittitian-born Michael Martin is the recently appointed Head of St Kitts and Nevis’ Citizenship by Investment Unit. His task is to drive St Kitts and Nevis’ newly evolved Citizenship by Investment Programme which includes a refocus that will cement the twin-island Federations standing as a leading player in the investment migration industry. Martin has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry including banking, trusts, insurance, and other lines of work in which compliance plays a critical role. He is the former executive of the National Caribbean Insurance Company, National Bank Trust Company, and Sagicor Life Inc. He has also held appointments as a Director of the Insurance Association of the Caribbean, as Honorary Secretary of the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park Society Council of Management, and as a Director of First Federal Cooperative Credit Union. Michael Martin has a graduate diploma from the International Compliance association and Manchester Business School, a certificate in International Trust management from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and a certificate in managing Financial Services from the University of the West Indies.
