How to give Nunify Mic & Camera access?

  • How to give Mic & Camera access across browsers?

Depending on the browser that you are using, you might face an error while trying to access a session. The error will look something like this, it happens when Nunify doesn’t have access to your Mic & Camera. It is needed for the Host and the Speaker to go LIVE!

Please find the instructions below which will help you in resolving the issue depending on the browser that you are using:

Google Chrome
  • Go to the sessions page where you are experiencing the above issue
  • Navigate to the URL bar
  • Click on the Camera icon(present to the left of the Star icon)
  • Select “Always Allow
  • Click Done
  • Reload the page
  • You should now be able to access the session



Tip: We recommend using Chrome for the best experience

Safari
  • Go to the sessions page where you are experiencing the above issue
  • Go to the Navigation bar and click on Safari & select Preferences (You can also go to Preferences by using this shortcut ⌘ + ,)
  • Click on the Camera icon
  • Select Allow for nunify.com
  • Click on the Microphone icon
  • Select Allow for nunify.com
  • Reload the page
  • You should now be able to access the session




FireFox
  • Go to the sessions page where you are experiencing the above issue
  • Go to the Navigation bar and Click on the Camera icon
  • Click on the “Camera” icon
  • Go to the “Permissions” section
  • Click on the “Cross(X)” present next to “Blocked Temporarily” for both Camera & Microphone
  • Reload the page
  • Now in the pop-up select “Allow” and check the “Remember this decision” option
  • You should now be able to access the session
